Pontoon Rental Attendant

 DAILY ACTIVITIES:

  • Arrive to work on time and begin preparing the Boats.
  • Uncover the boat, clean, and wipe down seats.
  • Greet our guests and verify their Driver’s License matches the name on the reservation.
  • Have the guests fill out the appropriate paperwork.
  • Ensure all Life Jackets fit properly and are on board children under 12 must always wear a life vest.
  • Go over the pre-launch checklist.
  • Walk around the boat and show previous damage.
  • Go over all boat functions and controls.
  • Explain the map and the dos and don’ts of the lake.
  • Answer any questions the guest may have.
  • Load guests’ personal stuff and put them on the boat.
  • Launch the boat (using our company truck)
  • Meet the guests back at the dock with the trailer when the rental is over.
  • Visually inspect the boat to make sure there is no damage or missing equipment.
  • Refuel the gas tank.
  • Trailer the boat to the house, disconnect and put the cover on.
  • Depending on demand this person may also assist at the Kayak stand 
  •  
  • Must have boating experience (Driving & Trailering) boats

    Must have a positive attitude and a hard worker
    Must be able to work Weekends and Holidays (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day)
    Must have a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
    Must be at least 25 years old
    Must be able to lift 45 pounds over your head.

Paddlesport Operations Assistant:

DAILY ACTIVITIES: 

  • Arrive at work on time and begin unlocking, opening & preparing rental equipment.
  • Check in the guests, give safety instructions & equipment.
  • Make sure each guest has a life vest and it fits properly.
  • Answer any questions.
  • Assist customers with launching boats.
  • Monitor where our guests are paddling.
  • Check back in equipment when guests are returning.
  • Remain visible and approachable to patrons who have questions, concerns, and/or complaints and practice effective communication and conflict resolution.
  • Ensure equipment and storage area are maintained, neat and organized.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Shop Sale Attendant:

Daily Activities:

  • Check the schedule to make sure papers and boards are completed (online booking software)
  • Open shops and put merchandise out.
  • Meet & greet and check in the guests.
  • Explain waivers and give safety instructions for rentals.
  • Remain visible and approachable to patrons who have questions, concerns, and/or complaints and practice effective communication and conflict resolution.
  • Answer questions.
  • Clean, tidy and organize the store.
  • Maintain a fully stocked and well displayed store.
  • Be knowledgeable of area info.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Paddlesport rental attendant/ shop sale attendant
