Enjoy Fall 2018 With Eclectic Sun @ Lake Jocassee

So Labor Day has come and gone and the kids are back in school, but never fear “Eclectic Sun” is still here! We are open and renting kayaks, canoes & SUPs daily. Weather permitting and barring hurricanes threats you will find us here. Our Fall rental hours are 9 am – 5 pm Monday through Thursday and 9 am – 6 pm Friday, Saturday & Sunday. We are open through the end of November! So make your plans to visit us and Lake Jocassee while it is still warm and beautiful. Online reservations are available 24 hours a day. Coming up, we have two very interesting events happening. Saturday, October 13th, 2018 Friends of Jocassee are putting on the First Annual Lake Jocassee Paddle Splash Competition. The race start and finish is the Eclectic Sun @ Lake Jocassee launch in the picnic area of Devils Fork State Park 238 Buckeye Drive, Salem SC 29676. You can sign up for this race at https://paddleguru.com/races/LakeJocasseePaddleSplash. Beginners and advanced paddlers are welcome, and are grouped by age and the speed of the craft to keep the racing fair. Choose between long (six mile) and short (three mile) loop courses. Kayak and SUP rentals are available on-site at the Eclectic Sun Paddlesports concession or bring your favorite ride.

Our next event we are planning to coincide with the Paddle Splash will be Eclectic Sun’s Annual Used Boat & Equipment Sale. Starting October 12th and continuing until we have depleted the boats & equipment we have for sale this year. A list of boats and equipment will be posted here when available.
